Overall we loved the tour and our time in Sri Lanka. The locations were beautiful and activities were fun for the whole family. The hotels were clean and had good service. Our tour guide Nilantha was superb - a very patient and diligent man. He made our trip stress free, which we greatly appreciate. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone new to Sri Lanka and wanting to explore this country's beauty.

The tour was incredible and well paced to see as much as Sri Lanka as possible during the 8 days. We opted for the private tour. The itinerary was well thought out and allowed for some down time as well as seeing the sights. Our tour guide, Janaka, was a very safe and reliable driver who was very patient and always offered to take photos for us. At busy sights, he ensured that we always had the best view and knew where to go to ensure that we experienced everything to the max. He also took us to authentic places for food, enabling us to taste Sri Lanka. We would definitely recommend the tour.

He took his time to show me all the sights, there was no rush.
He even recommended very good restaurants in all the places we visited.
He is very knowledgeable and extremely good at his job.
Since he has been doing this job for 18 years, he knows places to go and has good connections which helped a lot.

My husband and I planned a trip to Sri Lanka on the beginning of April. We decided that the best way was to contact to a local agency so we could have the itinerary, the accommodation along the way and the car covered. After some research we chose Beauty Lanka agency and they offered us the route, booked the hotels and put us in contact with Asanka who was our guide and driver the whole time.
We really enjoyed how everything was organized. We were offered a wide range of activities, some of them we enjoyed a lot, and other were skipped due to personal preferences. Asanka gave us a lot of information about local culture, traditions, life reality and so on. He was very attentive and we felt like we found a friend in Sri Lanka.
So, my husband and I consider the decision to make the tour with Beauty Lanka highly positive. After what we saw, I’m sure that to make this tour on our own would be more expensive and stressful due to the crazy driving conditions and lack of information.
Some recommendations traveling to Sri Lanka:
- take a good mosquito protection, enough for the whole time
- be prepared that some hotels will have very poor Wifi connection
- there are a lot of stray dogs everywhere
- you may withdraw rupees from you bank account in People’s Bank by a very nice price
