Amazing Experience with Etripto in Kerala!

​We booked a 4-night, 5-day package through Etripto covering Munnar, Thekkady, and Alappuzha (Alleppey) this past May. The entire experience was wonderfully organized; every hotel we stayed at was excellent, and the food was consistently amazing.

​Here are a few highlights and tips from our itinerary:

​Munnar: This place is breathtaking, filled with lush greenery and sprawling tea gardens. The weather was incredibly pleasant—mild and comfortable, rather than the sharp cold you experience in northern hill stations. I highly recommend staying at Blue Bells Resort. It offers an incredible forest vibe right in the middle of nature, with rooms that are both spacious and cozy.

​Thekkady: If you are visiting Thekkady, do not miss the Kalaripayattu martial arts show. It is an absolute must-watch!

​Alappuzha (Alleppey): A quick tip for summer travelers: opt for a Shikara ride instead of an overnight houseboat. The backwaters get very hot and humid during the day, and houseboat ACs are typically only turned on late at night (around 8:00–9:00 PM). Additionally, houseboats only do a round trip before docking for the entire evening, offering just a brief 30–40 minute ride the next morning. A Shikara ride is a much more practical and comfortable choice for the summer heat.
