## Amazing Kerala Trip! (A Detailed Review)

Overall, we had an amazing trip to Kerala! While there were a few minor hiccups along the way, everything turned out well and we were able to experience some of the best things Kerala has to offer. Here is our detailed breakdown by destination, activities, food, and service:

### 📍 Destination Breakdown

* **Munnar:** Absolutely beautiful! We witnessed one of the best sunrises in India here. The only minor hurdle was struggling a bit to book the off-road jeep safari due to the weather, but apart from that, everything was fantastic.

* **Thekkady:** Another wonderful stop. The elephant ride and traditional martial arts show were amazing. Due to limited seating, we initially struggled to get tickets for a couple of Periyar activities. Fortunately, we managed to get bookings after a few hours. The morning walk and night trekking were spectacular—the night trek was easily one of the highlights of our entire trip!

* **Kovalam, Varkala, Kanyakumari, & Alleppey:** Staying at the **Poovar Island Resort** was an absolute highlight; it offers an ultimate stay experience that we enjoyed thoroughly.
> 💡 **Pro-Tip for Travelers:** Skip the traditional houseboat in Alleppey—it felt like a waste of money. Instead, opt for a **Shikara boat ride**, which is a much better experience.

* **Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram):** Words cannot do justice to the **Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple**. The divine presence there is something you have to experience yourself.
* **Jatayu Earth's Center:** A truly great experience! Anyone who appreciates history and epic heritage will absolutely love this place.

### 🏨 Hotels & Food

All the hotels chosen for us were excellent, and the food quality was great. Just a heads-up for fellow travelers from our region: we are **Gujarati**, so the local South Indian cuisine was naturally quite different from what we are used to back home, but it was still a good experience.

### 🚗 Driver & Agency Service

Our driver was incredible! He was incredibly polite, friendly, and exceptionally punctual—whenever we called him, he was already there waiting for us. We gladly gave him a well-deserved tip for his great service.
