Kilimanjaro Umoja tours or Honest was our guide in Tanzania for Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater National Parks – and we can highly recommend it! He was incredibly warm, very accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. His knowledge of wildlife is impressive, and his exceptional observation skills allowed us to observe wildlife that other safari cars have often missed. We have seen leopards, lions, hippos, elephants and much more up close – unforgettable!

Our seven-day "The Perfect Tanzania Safari" was flawless from beginning to end.  Using a Google map, I located Kilimanjaro Umoja Tours and got in touch with them.  It is uncommon to see such timely and helpful contact from any travel service. From choosing which safari was best for us to booking, planning, and addressing questions several times prior to our arrival, they responded in a matter of minutes to hours.  Honest, our guide, was AMAZING. First of all, I have never encountered someone who is obviously passionate about their work and ideal for it. He is not just more knowledgeable about animals than we ever imagined, but he also enjoys sharing his knowledge at the appropriate time and pace—beautiful communication! The Omega View resort facilities at Tarangire Mpindo Ridge and Serengeti Mawe Tented resort, in particular, were excellent choices made by Kilimanjaro Umoja Tours. From the rooms to the cuisine to the service, we were treated like kings and queens. All things considered, we heartily endorse Kilimanjaro Umoja Tours, and we can't wait to go on another safari with them!

Huge praise for these guys. We successfully summited Kili via the Umbwe Route in Feb with Kilimanjaro Umoja Tours, and the experience was once in a lifetime. We were spoilt by our team of guides and porters. We had 3-4 meals a day with everything set up for us at each camp, creating comfortable conditions necessary for maintaining good health and ensuring we had the best possibility of summiting; despite us ignoring standard mountaineering rules and giving in to the temptation of running up the mountain and overtaking anyone ahead of us. We are grateful for Umoja Tours accommodating our ADHD behaviour and still getting us to the top! From our experience I can say this company is genuine, welcoming, good at what they do, and reasonably priced. If you're trying to choose which Kili tour group to go with, look no further.
