Thailand is an excellent, budget-friendly 1st international trip from India, offering a mix of vibrant cities, beaches, and rich culture. Travelers consistently praise the warm hospitality, easy local transportation, and delicious food. Popular itineraries include Bangkok, Phuket and Krabi for 6-7 days, allowing for a balanced, exciting experience.
Positive Feedback & Tips:
Best Experiences:
Bangkok - safari with marine park must visit with kids , city tour was ok ok but chao phraya princess dinner cruise is different experiences. Phuket - James bond island, Phi Phi Islands awesome, and @ Krabi - four island n city tour was ok ok , local Thai massages in Bangkok is cheaper then Phuket n krabi are highlights.
Convenience: The "Land of Smiles" feels safe and welcoming.
Food: Street food ( for non vegetarian )is affordable and varied, though Indian food options are readily available under 500meter all were near to hotel.
Tips: Purchase a 2-liter water bottle for 20-30 THB from 7-Eleven. Book activities like the speedboat ride in advance for better rates.
Recommended First-Time Itinerary:
Bangkok (2 days): Temples (Grand Palace), markets, and shopping, chao phraya Princess cruise for dinner
Phuket/Krabi (4 days): Island hopping (Phi Phi, Maya Bay) and water sports.
Highly recommended "SWAYAM GLOBAL Holiday ( OM SWAYAM HOLIDAYS)
