Had an amazing stay at this beautiful resort in the hills! The location is stunning, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms were cozy and well-maintained, and I was especially impressed with the cleanliness—washrooms were spotless! The staff was warm and welcoming, making our experience even better. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended!
The resort is 300-400 m treck from the parking point, which makes the experience truly amazing. Property is at a beautiful location from where you can see beautiful mountains. The service and the food provided is top notch .
I stayed here for two nights and, although I fell ill, had such a nice time. Aditya and his lovely staff were so attentive, generous and compassionate, and they took very good care of me including sourcing medication from a nearby doctor. I’m so grateful for their efforts and the quick recovery that resulted. I always felt that I was in good hands — as Aditya said, the Pahari people are incredibly hospitable and make you feel cared for and welcome. Having fallen ill, I wasn’t able to hike to Tungnath as planned. Aditya was adaptable and planned alternatives for the morning I felt more like myself. We ended up stopping at a temple en route to Rishikesh and Aditya recounting its fascinating relevance to the legend of the Panch Kedar temples. All in all, the surrounding villages are hidden gems and Aditya won’t hesitate to bring you there if you ask! Overall, my needs were surpassed on this adventure and I highly recommend anyone wanting to explore this part of the Himalayas stay here.
It's one of the best resorts nestled in the mountains of Chopta. If you want to spend some time in the lap of nature, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, then this is the perfect property for you. The owner-cum-manager is a helpful and friendly person. Visu, the chef-cum-upkeeper, is a gem of a person. The rooms are neat and cosy. Hot water is available round the clock. The food served was unbelievably of wide variety and tasty, even in this hilly terrain. Dinner is complimentary. We were told that regular electricity is not available in the meadow tents and huts of Chopta, as they are dependent on solar power. However, there is no such problem here, as the resort is located in a small village and has an uninterrupted power supply with an ample number of switches in each room. There are rooms for families and bunk beds available on a sharing basis as well. The rents are reasonable, vary as per season, and the bathrooms are neatly maintained. Above all, the cottage offers superb views of the mountains, with a spectacular sunrise view as an added bonus. 🌅On the flip side, the property can be approached after a steep 400-500m trek from the car parking area below alongside the road. We were informed of this beforehand, and the manager was kind enough to offer a helper to carry our luggage and guide us through the trekking trail. As the adage goes, "No pain, no gain." Overall, we spent some of our most memorable days here with our family. The children enjoyed it a lot. I would recommend it to all nature lovers who want to spend some time in peace.
