I have just returned from a trip to Meghalaya and Kaziranga National Park, which I booked through Shillong Tours and Travels. This was my first time traveling with my 3.6-year-old child, so I was quite cautious and worried. However, Edmund, our travel agent, was extremely helpful and responsive, addressing all of our queries before and during the trip. He even tailored the itinerary to suit our needs. Had a very good experience with The Shillong Tours. They are very pleasant and seamless in their plans and execution. They make you feel home at a foreign place. The owner of the travel and tours personally visits you and checks on you if everything is good. And takes extra effort to cover all the worthwhile sightseeing places.

Meghalaya trip was amazing, we had taken package for 5 nights and 6days. Mr Edmon had arranged the itinerary well. But had quite a few drawbacks, we had to ask everything each tym, like for better rooms etc, and the driver he had arranged couldn’t speak Hindi nor English. It was very difficult to communicate with him. Nd the driver missed to take us to atleast one destination each day. He gave us lame reasons saying the places shuts by 5pm only and we can’t go to the places as it is very far. His driving was too rash! Had lots of negligence while driving.. Din’t feel safe to travel with him. Rest Mr Edmon connected with us through out the trip. He helped us and made this trip as an awesome one. Thank you

We travelled to Meghalaya from Mumbai in the month of January. We booked the tour via "The Shilong Tours" which is managed by local people from shilong only, so that is added advantage. It was a very great experience visiting north east of India. The iternary provided by Edmund was perfect and stays were also clean and comfortable. He himself visited us and checked if everything is alright. He was available on call throughout the trip in case required and suggested us some good food outlets. He took us to different offbeat places which was very exciting. Car provided was also clean. Sunshine (our driver) was very nice and our journey was safe throughout.
