She also guided me how to cover most of the tourist attractions there. A well planned trip with great accommodation, service and good food. My recent journey to Jammu and Kashmir was a soul-stirring experience—one that seamlessly blended nature’s grandeur, cultural richness, and heartfelt hospitality. With visits to Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonmarg, and Zojila Pass, every destination had something unique to offer. What made the journey even more memorable was the unwavering support of our tour manager Miss Fancy Mir and chauffeur Iqbal Highgam, Travel Partner Arshad, and The Hotel Staff at Srinagar, along with the sense of safety and reassurance throughout the trip. Our Itinerary was managed by Trip Free World Tour and Travels headquartered in Kashmir.
Gulmarg – The Meadow of Flowers
Gulmarg’s wide meadows, vibrant flora, and snow-kissed peaks were a visual masterpiece. The Gondola ride to Apharwat Peak provided stunning aerial views and a taste of alpine magic. The air was crisp, the scenery breathtaking—perfect for both relaxation and photography.

Pahalgam – The Valley of Shepherds
Despite recent unsettling news about the tragic incident in Pahalgam, I felt completely safe and secure during our time there. There was visible presence of local security, and tourist areas were well-managed and peaceful. The community and service providers went out of their way to make visitors feel comfortable and welcome. Our pony ride to Lidder River Front and  Valley Point was serene and scenic, with views that seemed straight out of a movie.

Sonmarg – The Meadow of Gold
Sonmarg’s pristine charm was equally captivating. Snow-covered peaks glistened in the sunlight, and the Thajiwas Glacier trek offered unforgettable panoramic views. The locals were friendly and welcoming, sharing stories and guiding us with warmth.

Zojila Pass – Gateway to Ladakh
Driving through Zojila Pass was a high-altitude adventure that offered dramatic landscapes and a rush of adrenaline. It’s one of the highest and most thrilling mountain roads in the region—and our chauffeur’s calm expertise gave us peace of mind through every hairpin turn.
Tour Manager and Chauffeur – True Professionals
Our tour manager Fancy Mir ensured flawless coordination—from daily plans to local arrangements—with a calm and helpful demeanor. Her local knowledge helped us explore hidden gems and cultural insights beyond the tourist spots.
Our chauffeur was not only skilled but also deeply courteous. He drove with care through challenging terrains and shared valuable local tips. His patience and professionalism greatly contributed to our stress-free and comfortable journey.
Spiritual and Cultural Experience
The spiritual visit to Vaishno Devi Shrine was deeply moving. The devotion of fellow pilgrims and the sacred atmosphere created a lasting impression. Throughout our trip, we enjoyed local specialties like Kahwa, Rogan Josh, and explored handicrafts and traditional Kashmiri garments—each carrying a story of heritage and pride.

Given recent concerns about safety, especially the incident in Pahalgam, I want to reassure fellow travelers: we felt completely safe and supported at all times. Authorities and locals alike are vigilant and committed to ensuring a peaceful experience for tourists. There were no disruptions to our itinerary, and the atmosphere was calm and friendly in every destination.

Jammu and Kashmir is not just a place you visit—it’s a place that stays with you. With its majestic valleys, spiritual depth, kind-hearted people, and supportive travel partners, this trip was more than a vacation—it was an experience that touched the soul. We have stayed in  Twin Towers at Srinagar for 3 days, they have provided 24*7 hot water, Room heater and the unlimited Buffet with multiple dishes of Break fast and Dinner.

The Cab Driver cum guide Assisted us to bargain for Pony Ride and Union Can in Sonamarg/Doodpathri/Gulmarg and Pahalgam in which we saved few thousands.

On 4th day we have stayed in a Boathouse at beautiful Dal Lake. In Boathouse, we have been provided with yummy dinner and when the incharge of the Boathouse refused to switch on the Heater, Ms. Ruhi madam ji, immediately spoken with him and resolved the issue.

On 5th day of our trip, we have stayed at Pahalgam, the Hotel Room ambience enhances to superior look but only concern is there is no lift.
