My experience at **Mumbai Airport** was truly impressive. From the moment I entered the terminal, the place felt modern, spacious, and incredibly well organized. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport

I recently traveled through Mumbai and had a really smooth experience at the airport. It’s extremely spacious and very well planned. Even when the airport is crowded, the crowd management is excellent — everything feels evenly distributed, so you never feel stuck or overwhelmed. From entry to check-in, security, boarding, arrival, and exit, the entire process is hassle-free and well guided.

There are plenty of food options both at departure and arrival, and the signage and instructions are very clear. You won’t feel lost like you sometimes do at huge international airports.

The staff here is polite, humble, and genuinely helpful, which makes a big difference, especially if you’re not a local.

Pickup and drop-off arrangements are very well segregated — app taxis, private vehicles, everything is organized smoothly.

The airport also looks great architecturally, with a consistent design and a beautiful green facade outside. Roads around the airport are well maintained and connectivity to the city is excellent. It’s also not too far from the main city, and there are many good hotels nearby, which is a huge plus compared to some other Indian airports.

Overall, one of the best airports in India. I’ve traveled through Mumbai multiple times and never had a bad experience.

Mumbai Airport is truly beautiful from an architectural point of view. It’s definitely in my personal top 10 out of the several hundred airports I’ve visited around the world.

While waiting for your flight, I highly recommend visiting the business lounge Adani. Also consider getting a foot massage at Meghavi Air Spa, it’s a great way to relax before a long journey (both available for Loungekey users).

Another great feature: if you’re traveling with a child, the airport staff will take you around the terminal in a complimentary electric cart to wherever you need to go. A very nice and convenient service.

Terminal 2 of Mumbai International Airport is absolutely stunning! I was impressed by the world-class facilities and the artistic interiors. The immigration process was smooth and fast. It provides every amenity a traveler could need. Had a fantastic experience!"

If there is one airport terminal in India that has always fascinated me, it has to be Terminal 2 (Sahar International Airport) of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai. Sleek, futuristic, and undoubtedly colourful - this terminal makes me remember some of the best airport terminals in the world. On December 15, 2025 (Monday), my partner and I reached the terminal to catch our EgyptAir flight to Cairo. While the flight was originally scheduled to depart in the midnight, it was delayed to almost early in the morning on December 16, 2026 (Tuesday). Anyway, our wait at the airport was great. There are enough seats. Also, the facilities at the airport are worldclass. Even the lounges are great. After checking in, the departure terminal has some breathtaking infrastructure. Despite the inordinate delay, it was not really taxing on our part. We eventually boarded the flight and reached Cairo safely on December 16.
