I chose to go sightseeing in McLeodganj because I wanted a detour before starting the next phase of my life. Mcleodganj is a holy city in Dharamshala, which is famous for many reasons. The singular reason why I wanted to visit the hill station is because it is the residence of the Dalai Lama. The place exudes an exciting sense of spirituality from every crevice. This is just what I needed in my life at the moment. Luckily, it didn’t take a lot to convince my family to pack their bags and set off for the mountains with me.
