The left one is the bigger one. You should visit both but beware of the sulfur gases. The smell is very intensiv.
The way down to the left crater is not so difficult but in the heat of the Sommer could be an issue.
The way up to the left one is more difficult but manageable.

The lone member of staff was very helpful and friendly.Activity Archaeological Museum of NisyrosThe Archaeological Museum of Nisyros in Mandraki was founded by Giannidis brothers, who donated it to the Ministry of Culture in 2001. It includes findings from the prehistoric establishment on Giali, the volcanic islet opposite Nisyros, which date back to the Final Neolithic Period of the 4th millennium BC. Excavations on Giali revealed an intact Neolithic building, remains of other buildings, and a cemetery. Also the museum includes findings from the necropolis of the ancient city, which date to the Archaic, Classical and Hellenistic Period.End of Day - Day 4

Activity Day 5 Walking to the active craters of the CalderaA visit of the active volcanoes in the middle of the island
Activity Round trip on NisyrosRented ATVs during our sailing vacation and spent 12 hours exploring the Greek island, Nisiros. We went straight to Petastra and they set us up with everything we needed. They also gave us all kinds of hints and tips of where to go (off the beaten path) and see breathtaking views all over the island. Their equipment was clean, high performing and we all felt very safe. We had an absolute blast and we genuinely believe we saw parts of the island most don’t get to see because of our ‘off road” explorations. I highly recommend renting from Petastra and when you do, make sure you ask for all of their advice of where to go and the options of how to get there. You won’t be disappointed. We will be back to do it again.
