China, has added another feather to its cap.  The Hunan province in China has introduced the world's highest bungee jump, which will let you dangle between two cliffs from a 430 m glass-bottomed suspension bridge.  Adventure seekers can take this leap of faith to the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge from a height of 260 m.
Besides offering adventure, the bungee jump also offers mesmerising views of the surrounding Wulingyuan wilderness, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The region was already quite popular among international tourists for its quartzite sandstone pillars. Of course, the place is also gaining popularity among adventure tourists now. The peaks here extend into the clouds, and the gorges here will transport you to a magical world.

The bungee jumping operation in the province began at the end of 2020. The operation was delayed due to the pandemic as the Chinese government had imposed several restrictions. Jonni Deaker, the operator of the sport, said that the business was building slowly after the domestic tourists began turning up. He said, "We are probably averaging twenty jumps a day at the moment, which is pretty good for a jump this size." The operator also informed that he was sure that during the July-August holiday season, people will turn up in the region. The cost of the sport has decreased by 40 percent.

The pedestrian bridge here is designed by a famous Israeli architect, Haim Dotan. The bridge was inaugurated in August 2016 and it was once the longest glass-bottomed suspension bridge in the world. This is going to be the much needed thrills to the adventure junkies as jumping into the abyss.
