If you’re interested, you can explore the Colombo National Museum or visit Mount Lavinia Beach for one last view of the ocean.  Last-Minute Shopping If you still have time before your flight, visit some local markets or ODEL for last-minute souvenirs or gifts to bring home. Sri Lanka is famous for its Ceylon tea, handicrafts, and batik textiles. Check-out & Transfer to Airport After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure. Visit a Gem Gallery, where you can see how Sri Lanka’s world-renowned sapphires and other gemstones are processed. Adjacent is the legendary Ashoka Vatika, believed to be the garden where Sita waited for Rama. You can still find the Sita Eliya stream, where she is said to have bathed. Historically associated with the Ramayana, it's believed to be a part of King Ravana's Ashoka garden.
