Customers are advised to carefully read and understand the following Terms and Conditions prior to booking any trip with CHECK-IN/OYO. It strongly recommends that all customers review the full details of their selected trip, package, or service as outlined on the official CHECK-IN/OYO website and mobile application. By making a full or partial payment to CHECK-IN/OYO or its authorized agents, partners, portals, or mobile applications, the customer is deemed to have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full.
CHECK-IN/OYO reserves the right to change, delete or add new terms including but not limited to change in policy. It is the customer’s responsibility to read these Terms from time to time post making reservation. Customer’s continued access to or use of the CHECK-IN/OYO services following any changes, deletions, or additions to these Terms shall constitute their valid acceptance of such modifications. It is
the Customer’s responsibility to review the Term periodically for any updates. In the event of any
disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the use of CHECK-IN/OYO services, CHECK-IN/OYO reserves the right to make the final and binding decision.
Accuracy of Information
CHECK-IN/OYO strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information on its website and/or application. However, errors or omissions may occur. Customers are advised to verify all package details and pricing with CHECK-IN/OYO prior to booking.
Inclusive Taxes and Tax Revisions
The rates quoted are inclusive of all applicable taxes as per prevailing laws at the time of booking. Any revision in the tax structure mandated by the government at the time of check-in or during the course of the tour will be charged additionally and is payable directly by the customer. All payments, including booking advances and final settlements, must be made exclusively to the official bank account of CHECK-IN/OYO. In exceptional cases, where payments are made in cash or transferred to the personal account of a check-in employee due to technical issues or other unforeseen circumstances, such transactions will be considered valid only if accompanied by a formal confirmation email sent from CHECK-IN’s official email ID: [insert official email ID here]. In the absence of such an official email confirmation, CHECK-IN/OYO shall not be held responsible or liable for the payment, and the company will not honour the booking or service related to such transactions.
Package Price Changes Post Booking
Once a booking is confirmed and fully or partially paid, the package price will remain unchanged unless:
a) The customer requests changes or customizations to the booking;
b) New or increased government taxes or fees become applicable.
Such changes are alwayssubject to revised price and written confirmation by CHECK-IN/OYO.
Room Occupancy
Room occupancy shall be strictly as per the details confirmed at the time of booking and subject to applicable check-in policies of the hotel. In the case of triple-sharing rooms, a rollaway mattress will be provided for the third occupant. Occupancy policies for family and club rooms will be governed by the respective hotel's policies.
Hotel Changes in Exceptional Situations
All hotel bookings are confirmed. However, in the event of unforeseen issues including those of local authority orders or technical faults, CHECK-IN/OYO reserves the right to offer alternate accommodations of a similar standard. If such offer is turned down by the Customer, CHECK-IN/OYO shall not be responsible for accommodation and any related consequence, in any manner.
Flight Bookings as Part of a Package
For flights booked through CHECK-IN/OYO as part of a travel package, CHECK-IN/OYO acts solely as a sales
agent. All bookings are subject to the airline's rules, and any amendments (such as name, date, or time
changes) will attract charges as per the airline's policy. Cancellations and refunds for flight tickets will
strictly follow the policies of the respective airline. Customers must ensure timely arrival at the airport.
CHECK-IN/OYO is not liable for missed flights due to personal delays, short layovers, or airline-related
issues such as overbooking or schedule changes, non-compliance of applicable rules and regulations.
CHECK-IN/OYO is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of baggage or belongings at airports or
during the trip.
Vehicle Use During Tour
Vehicles provided will operate as per the fixed itinerary. Late-night or unscheduled travel outside the
itinerary will not be permitted. In areas where vehicles are restricted by local authorities, the vehicle will
drop customers at the closest accessible point. Further arrangements must be managed by the customer.
No vehicle will be provided on designated leisure or rest days in the itinerary. AC may not operate in hilly
terrain due to mechanical reasons. Drivers reserve the right to switch off AC based on road, weather, or vehicle conditions.
Exclusionsfrom Package
Unless specifically stated in the inclusions section of the tour package, all other expenses such as ,
entrance fees, monument charges, parking, tolls, transportation, meals, and other activity charges are
excluded from the package and the Customer shall bear all such costs.
Force Majeure – Natural Calamities and Unforeseen Events
In the event of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of CHECK-IN/OYO (“the Company”),
including but not limited to natural disasters (such as earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, or landslides), fire,
epidemics or pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, government restrictions, changes in law or
regulations, travel bans, or any other unforeseen events or acts of God, the Company shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under the agreed tour or travel package. The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, postpone, or make changes to the itinerary, services, accommodations, or any other aspect of the tour package in response to such events. These decisions will be taken for the safety and well-being of the guests as the top priority, and may be
made without prior notice, depending on the urgency and severity of the situation. In such cases, no refunds, reimbursements, or compensation (including but not limited to expenses incurred due to travel disruptions, missed flights, or unused services) will be provided for cancellations, delays, or alterations caused by force majeure events. While the Company will make reasonable efforts to assist guests in rearranging or rescheduling their
travel plans where possible, all such efforts will be subject to availability, third-party policies (e.g., hotels, airlines, transport operators), and applicable additional costs, which will be borne by the customer. Guests are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance to protect against potential losses or disruptions arising from such uncontrollable events.
Refund Timelines
Refunds related to cancellations, as per the applicable cancellation policy of CHECK-IN/OYO, will be processed within a minimum of 14 working days, provided the customer has submitted all required details and documentation necessary to initiate the refund process in a timely manner. Please note that all refunds are strictly subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the CHECK-IN/OYO Cancellation Policy, and no exceptions will be made outside the scope of that policy
Third-Party Service Issues
CHECK-IN/OYO is not liable for issues caused by third-party vendors or providers. However, the team will
extend reasonable support to resolve such matters.
Non-payment Consequences
In case of non-payment of full package cost, including any due components, the issued travel voucher will be deemed null and void.
Acceptance of Services by Voucher Issuance
Holding a travel voucher confirms that the customer accepts the package details as mutually agreed upon.
Expectations differing from the agreed terms will not warrant mid-tour modifications.
Limitation of Liability
CHECK-IN/OYO’s liability, if any, shall be limited to the total amount paid by the customer for the specific tour package booked through us, excluding any third-party charges (such as airline, hotel, or transport fees) and applicable taxes.
CHECK-IN/OYO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including personal
injury, delays, cancellations, or service failures by third-party providers. Customers are advised to obtain appropriate travel insurance for added protection.
Customer’s Violations
CHECK-IN/OYO is not liable for any loss incurred due to the customer's violation of policies, rules, or instructions issued by CHECK-IN/OYO or any applicable legal regulation.
Offers, Discounts, and Promo Codes
Promotional codes, discounts, or offers are applicable only if explicitly mentioned on CHECK-IN/OYO’s official platforms. Offers cannot be clubbed unless specifically allowed. CHECK-IN/OYO is not liable for offers communicated by unauthorised third parties.
Grievance Redressal
All grievances must first be reported to the Customer Relationship Team within 10 days of the event. If unresolved within 30 days, the customer may escalate the issue as per these Terms and the applicable
policies.
Customer Liability for Losses
Customers shall reimburse CHECK-IN/OYO for any losses or expenses incurred due to their direct or indirect actions.
Jurisdiction and Governing Law
All packages are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved via arbitration in Delhi, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Courts in Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Non-transferability
The package and all associated rights are non-transferable and may not be assigned without prior written consent from CHECK-IN/OYO. Whereas, CHECK-IN/OYO, at its sole discretion, shall have the right to assign, delegate, or subcontract any or all of its rights, obligations, or services under this Agreement including but not limited to any third party vendor, on the same or substantially similar terms and conditions, without any prior notice to or consent from the Customer.
