Arrival at Paro Airport (65 km in 2 hrs) On arrival Northeast Trip Planner representative will escort you towards your vehicle for your onward Journey to Thimphu the capital of Bhutan. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

Transport Day 2 Details

Thimphu Sightseeing (08:30-am to 04 pm) After breakfast proceed for full day Thimphu sightseeing. Visit Folk Museum, Memorial Chhotan, Kuensel Phorang – World’s largest sitting Buddha statue, Takin Reserve & mini Zoo,BBS Tower the view point of Thimphu valley, Royal Textile & Museum, Trashi chhodzong-fortress in Thimphu. Overnight Stay at Thimphu.

Thimphu- Paro (65 km in 2 hrs) After breakfast transfer to Paro. The Paro valley extends from the confluence of the Paro Chu and the Wang Chu River at Chuzom up to Mt. chomolhari at the Tibetan border to the North. This picturesque region is one of the widest valleys in the kingdom and is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley. On arrival in Paro, check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious thangkha, etc. Rinpung Dzong - Meaning "fortress of the heap of jewels". The dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro. Overnight stay at hotel in Paro.

Hike To Taktsang (08 am -4pm) After breakfast visit Drukgyel Dzong. Also visit famous Taktsang Monastery - called “Tiger's Nest” – a UNESCO world Heritage site (2-3 hrs hike from the base camp) & Kitchu Monastery. Ponis are available for hire. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Paro.
