About Spiti Kaza, the headquarters of Spiti Valley, is a small town in Himachal Pradesh, India. It is located at an altitude of 3,660 metres (12,001 feet). The town is the largest in the valley and is the main commercial center. It is also the main transit point for travelers going to or coming from the Spiti Valley. Kaza is the district headquarters of the Spiti Valley district. The town is inhabited by Buddhists, Hindus, and people of other religions. Tourist attractions in and around Kaza include the Ki Monastery, the Kibber Village, the Key Monastery, the Dhankar Monastery, and the Tabo Monastery.
