Everyone loves Europe, but travelling around it can be a bit stressful. So, if you're flying out of Bengaluru, you can now travel directly to Europe with ease, and you won't have to break up your journey. According to the latest reports, Air France-KLM has indicated that flight services between Amsterdam and Bengaluru will restart on May 25. As per sources, the route was first started in October 2019 but was briefly halted in 2020 because of Covid-19.
According to the airline's announcement, it would run three flights each week from Bengaluru to Amsterdam, giving passengers the opportunity of flying directly to Amsterdam and connecting to destinations all over the world via Amsterdam Schiphol.
The flight KL880 from Bengaluru will depart from Kempegowda International Airport at 0600 hours on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays and arrive at 1230 hours the next day (local time). Similarly, flight number KL879 from Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport will depart for Bengaluru at 1400 hours on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays and arrive at 0310 hours.
In addition, beginning May 23, KLM will increase the frequency of daily flights between Mumbai and Amsterdam. In fact, by the end of May, Air France and KLM's combined operations from India will expand to 35 weekly flights.
These flights will allow passengers to fly from four Indian cities, namely Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi, and link to locations throughout the world with ease. Moreover, as part of Air France and KLM's business policy, any tickets issued on or after March 1, 2022, are fully refundable.
