Later on Tuesday, Qatar Airways confirmed reinstatement of flights as airspace reopened in the country

International flight operations at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) were disrupted on Monday and Tuesday (June 23 and 24, 2025) after airspace closures in Qatar led to multiple cancellations.

At least nine outbound and nine inbound flights were affected over the two days, according to Hyderabad airport officials

On Monday, three IndiGo flights bound for Doha (6E 1317), Jeddah (6E 067), and Dammam (6E 085) were cancelled. On Tuesday, outbound cancellations included services to Muscat (6E 1273), Abu Dhabi (6E 1448 and 6E1407), Kuwait (KU 374), Doha (6E 1313), and Dubai (6E 1465).

Arrivals into Hyderabad on Tuesday also saw a number of disruptions. Flights from Doha (6E 1316), Kuwait (KU 373), Bahrain (6E 1208), Abu Dhabi (6E 1408), Jeddah (6E 068), Muscat (6E 1274), Ras Al Khaimah (6E 1496), and Dammam (6E 086) were cancelled.

The situation emerged after Qatar and UAE authorities announced temporary closure of their airspace after an Iranian missile strike on US military bases in Qatar, causing ripple effects across major Indian international hubs, including Hyderabad.
