The Vande Bharat Express will soon run between Khajuraho and Delhi in Madhya Pradesh's Chhatarpur area. Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Union Minister of Railways, made the statement lately. On his visit to Madhya Pradesh's Bundelkhand region, he announced that two rake points, Chattarpur and Khajuraho, had been granted, and that rail tickets could now be bought at 45000 post offices.
While highlighting the functioning of Bharat Gaurav trains such as the Ramayana Express, which will be electrified by August, he also stated that Rail Over Bridge/Road Under Bridge will be built at crucial locations soon. Vande Bharat would also begin rolling out at the same time, he said.
The North Central Railway owns and operates the Khajuraho railway station. People often come to Khajuraho to see the Khajuraho complex of temples and monuments, which are particularly beautiful.
The Union Minister also discussed the redevelopment of Khajuraho station, saying that every attempt is being made to turn it into a world-class station.
In a related development, Vaishnaw stated that rail tickets will be available in 45000 post offices, whereas the scheme was originally implemented in Uttar Pradesh in January, with ticket booking available in 9147 post offices across the state.
In the Union Budget 2022-23, India's Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman suggested the construction of 400 new Vande Bharat trains over the next three years.
