The temple town of Bekal is located in Kasaragod district of Kerala. The town is known for its Bekal Fort, a fort built by the erstwhile rulers of the area, the Bekal Fort is the largest fort in Kerala. The town also has a number of temples, the most famous of which is the Bekal Fort Temple. The town is well connected by road and rail.
