About Zoo Berlin
Berlin Zoo is Europe's oldest and most popular zoo, located in the Tiergarten park in the center of Berlin. The zoo was founded in 1844 by the Prussian king Friedrich Wilhelm IV, and today it is home to more than 14,000 animals from around the world.
