The Istanbul Pelit Chocolate Museum is a museum in Istanbul, Turkey, dedicated to the history and production of chocolate. It is located in the Çemberlitaş neighbourhood of the Fatih district. The Istanbul Pelit Chocolate Museum was founded in 2007 by the Pelit chocolate company. The museum is housed in a historic Ottoman-era building, and contains exhibits on the history of chocolate, the production of chocolate, and the use of chocolate in Turkish cuisine. The museum also has a gift shop, and offers tours of its facilities. The Istanbul Pelit Chocolate Museum is open from Monday to Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Admission is free.
