Balsamand Lake is a man-made lake located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. It is said to have been built by the Mehrangarh Fort's founder, Rao Jodha in the early 15th century. The lake is rectangular in shape and is about 4 km long and 2 km wide. It has a catchment area of about 9.5 km². The lake is surrounded by gardens and is a popular tourist destination.
