Beas Kund is a glacial lake in the Kullu Valley of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is located at a height of 4,500 metres (14,800 ft) and is a popular trekking destination. The lake is fed by the Beas River, which originates from the Rohtang Pass.
 
The trek to Beas Kund starts from the village of Solang, located 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) from the town of Manali. The route passes through the Beas River valley, and the trekkers have to cross the river several times. The last crossing is just before the village of Dhundi, where the trekkers start the ascent to the Beas Kund. The ascent is a steep one, and takes about four hours to complete. The lake is located in a cirque at the head of the Beas River valley.
 
Beas Kund is a popular destination for trekkers, and is considered to be an easy trek. The trekking season starts in May and lasts until the end of September. The best time to visit is in the month of July, when the valley is lush and green.
