About Parikrama On The Island
The Omkareshwar Parikrama is a Hindu pilgrimage around the holy island of Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh, India. The pilgrimage is undertaken by Hindus as a religious duty and is considered to be one of the most sacred Hindu pilgrimages. The circuit around the island is about 64 km long.
