About Varaha Temple
Pushkar is a small town in the Ajmer district of Rajasthan, India. It is situated 14 km west of Ajmer and is one of the most important pilgrimage places for Hindus. The town is famous for the Pushkar Lake, around which are clustered numerous temples. The 52 bathing ghats in the lake attract pilgrims from all over the country. The most important temple in Pushkar is the Brahma Temple, said to have been built by Brahma himself.
