Kumaon Regimental Centre Museum

Ranikhet is a hill station in Uttarakhand, India. It is located in the Kumaon region, in the Almora district. Ranikhet is at a height of 1869 metres (6133 feet) above sea level. Ranikhet is a cantonment town and is the home of the Kumaon Regiment of the Indian Army. The town is also the headquarters of the Ranikhet district. Ranikhet is a popular tourist destination. It is well known for its natural beauty and the views of the Himalayas from various points in the town.

 

The Ranikhet Kumaon Regimental Centre Museum is located in the town. The museum is open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, except on Mondays and national holidays. The museum is dedicated to the history of the Kumaon Regiment of the Indian Army. It displays weapons, uniforms, medals, and other artefacts relating to the regiment.
