Saiha is located on the eastern edge of Mizoram, bordering the Indian states of Tripura and Assam. Saiha is connected to the rest of Mizoram by National Highway 54. According to the 2011 census, Saiha has a population of 17,711. Male literacy is 85%, female literacy is 73%. In Saiha, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
