There is no availability of water at Chandrashila. One needs to carry their own water bottles while trekking to this destination.

There are a few small restaurants and food stalls in Rudraprayag, but the quality of the food is not always reliable. It is best to bring your own food with you, or to eat at one of the larger towns and cities in the area.

There is no camping or shelter facility at Rudra Prayag. Visitors are advised to stay at nearby hotels or ashrams.

How to reach Tungnath and Chandrashila Trek
The Rudraprayag-Tungnath-Chandrashila trek is a popular trekking route in the Garhwal Himalayas. The trek can be done as a 4-5 day trek from Rudraprayag. The route passes through the scenic villages of Srinagar and Ghansali, and offers beautiful views of the snow-capped Himalayas. The trek can be done either independently or through a trekking agency.
