Rudra Prayag is a small town situated on the banks of the river Alaknanda in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is one of the Panch Prayag (five confluences) of the river Ganges (or Ganga). The other four are at Kedarnath, Badrinath, Vishnu Prayag and Devaprayag. The town is located at the confluence of the rivers Alaknanda and Dhauliganga. Rudra Prayag is considered as a holy place by Hindus and is home to the Rudra Prayag Maa Hariyali Devi Temple. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Hariyali Devi and is visited by thousands of pilgrims during the annual Hariyali Devi Fair.
