Tsomgo Lake is a glacial lake in Sikkim, northeastern India. It is about 38 km (24 mi) from the state capital Gangtok and about 8 km (5.0 mi) from the Changu village. The lake is at an altitude of 3,788 metres (12,435 ft).Tsomgo (Changu) Lake is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Sikkim. The lake is about 12 km from the Nathu La Pass and about 38 km from Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim.
 
The lake is not very big, but it is very beautiful. The water is a deep blue and the sky is a bright, deep blue. There are some tall mountains all around the lake. The lake is in a valley and the sides of the valley are very steep. There are rocks and trees all around the lake. The trees are very tall and the leaves are green. The rocks are brown and green and some are covered with moss. There is a lot of snow on the mountains all around the lake.

The lake is very cold. The water is frozen for most of the year. The only time people can visit the lake is from May to October. People can walk on the frozen lake. There are some small shops near the lake where people can buy food and drinks. There are also some souvenir shops. People can see the lake from a distance, but they cannot go near it because it is in a military area.
