4 Days Uganda Mountain Gorillas, Lake Bunyonyi & Wildlife Experience

You will be picked up from Kampala after breakfast by your guide. Thereafter drive to the southwestern part of Uganda via Masaka, you will have two stopovers; at the Equator to take photographs and buy souvenirs and also in Mbarara for lunch. Later continue as you drive through the rolling hills with banana plantations, the stunning terraced Kigezi highlands. Basically, it will be a great journey as you will have great views of various landscapes. On reaching the park check you will have dinner and an overnight.

On this day when you are done with your early breakfast, leave the lodge with packed lunch and report to the park headquarters for briefing at 7:30am which includes the rules and guidelines for gorilla trekking. Thereafter in the same area is the starting point as you go on to trek mountain gorillas, you will be guided by an experienced and knowledgeable park ranger guide who will take you to see these gentle giants. How long it takes to track gorillas is determined by their location in a place so it can take 2 to 8 hours. After meeting the gentle primates of the jungle, spend a full hour to take photos, watch the young ones play with the adults and later retire from the forest. After your breakfast, go for a canoe trip on the lake whereby you will be able to see various birds, communities, landforms such as the islands. Take as much photographs as you can. After the canoe, have lunch  and drive to Lake Mburo national park for an afternoon game drive in search for zebras, impalas, elands, buffalos, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, topi and reedbuck. Enjoy your breakfast and checkout from the lodge and head to the pack for an exciting walking safari in the park. This is the one of the experiences that will introduce you closer to nature! You will get closer to animals like Zebras and several antelopes. After drive to Kampala having lunch en-route. You will arrive at Entebbe international airport in the evening with great memories.
