Arrival and Transfer to Gangtok 

Transfer to Lachung 

After breakfast, start drive to Lachung around 10 am via Chungthang .Lachung is 125 kilometers or 5 – 6 hoursdrive  from Gangtok . Stop for  lunch at RangRang which takes nearly 3 -3 ½  hours of drive from Gangtok . Lachung  is situated at an altitude of  8600 feet . On the way enjoy a few scenic beauties like Tashi View point , Naga Waterfalls, 7 sister Waterfalls, and the  confluence of  Lachen Chu  and Lachung  Chu at Chungthang . The road leads through Rhododendron plants of the Singha Forest Reserve extended up to the Tibetan Plateau . Picturesque landscape, snow peaked mountains, flowing rivers blooming Rhododendrons . During April / May / June  one can find the riot of colours as Rhododendrons, Primulae and many other Alpine Flowers  are  in full bloom . Guest are expected to reach  Lachung late in the afternoon or early evening . Check in to hotel . Evening will be free to take a stroll  toLachung Monastery . Night stay in Lachung .

 Lachung Sight Seeing 

After breakfast leave for Yumthang  which is nearly 26 kilometers and is an hours drive . Yumthang valley is situated at an altitude of nearly 11,800 feet with the river Lachung Chu flowing through the valley . Yumthang valley is also very popular for it’s hot spring which is known for it’s curative properties. Lachung is most sought after by tourist and the valley is either snow covered or the blooming Rhododendron always enhances the beauty of the place .  Yumthang  is a large  valley  surrounded  by mountains where  the  tree line  ends and the cold breeze starts in the winter months there  as there is snow all around and the snow clad mountains  adds to the beauty .  Lachung to Gangtok  

Return journey to Gangtok is 125 kilometers , 5 – 6 hours drive.  Lunch on the way . If the weather is good and sky is  clear  one can  get  to see the Himalayan range - The location on the way offers  majestic  view of Mt. Pandim, Mt. Kabru, Mt. Simvo, Mt. Jopuno, Mt. Kanchendzonga, Mt.Sinolchu and other peaks and the route back is covered with Rhododendron forest generally blooms during spring . Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping center - Over Night stay at Gangtok.

 Departure to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) 

 Check out from the hotel and transfer to IXB Airport/NJP railway Station for your onward journey taking along beautiful memories of Sikkim
