6 DAYS MASAI MARA - LAKE NAKURU – AMBOSELI SAFARI

DAY 1: NAIROBI - MASAI MARA

After breakfast in your hotel in Nairobi pick up by your professional guide and depart the Nairobi region for Masai Mara driving through the dramatic Great Rift Valley with a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint where you will have a chance to take photos with a great view of the valley. Proceed to the Masai Mara National Reserve arriving in time for lunch at the hotel.

This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great Wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo, and Rhino.

At 4 pm proceed for an evening game drive, tracking various animal species and birds with your driver/guide. Dinner and overnight at your chosen accommodation.

DAY 2: MASAI MARA FULL DAY

After breakfast proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network that allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, looking out for Hippos and Crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at chosen accommodation.

 DAY 3:  MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE - LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, depart the Mara region for Nakuru, lunch en route, with scenic views of Mt. Longonot and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. You will arrive in the evening for drop off for your dinner and overnight at the Buraha Zenoni Hotel.

DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast proceeds on a game drive in Lake Nakuru Park, known for its prolific birdlife including Flamingos. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white Rhino while species like Cape Buffalo and Waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline Later drive to Amboseli National Park which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. Arriving late evening for dinner and overnight at the Manjaro Tented Camp

 DAY 5: AMBOSELI FULL DAY

After breakfast at the camp, a true African experience awaits in this park. You will set off early to see the magnificent view of Mount Kilimanjaro and set off for another extensive game drive before the clouds build up over the summit. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife such as Wildebeest, Giraffes, you will spend a full day in the park with a packed lunch. Later you will come back for dinner and overnight at the Manjaro Tented Camp.

 DAY 6: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK – NAIROBI

After breakfast check out at the camp and if weather permits you will see the view of Mount Kilimanjaro, later depart Amboseli park for Nairobi with picnic lunch served en-route arriving in Nairobi late afternoon you will be dropped at the airport
