About Lavasa
Lavasa is a private city being developed in the Maharashtra state of India. It is located near the city of Pune. The city is being built by the Lavasa Corporation, a subsidiary of the Hindustan Construction Company. The city is designed to have a Mediterranean feel, with narrow streets, plazas and public squares. It will be home to a range of residential and commercial buildings, as well as schools, hospitals and other public amenities. The first phase of the city's development was completed in 2010.
