    Description
    Journey up and down the mountain in about 5 minutes with Fjellheisen Cable Car. Providing a regular service, the cable car operates every full and half hour. Each gondola has a capacity of approximately 28 passengers, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable ride for everyone. If we are unable to accommodate everyone on the first journey, we will add another journey subsequently.
    Choose for yourself how much time you spend at the top while keeping in mind the company's opening hours.

    Description Winter Sea Kayaking Tour with Wildlife Sightings:-
    Put on your drysuit and hop into your kayak as you paddle around the Arctic sea in winter. See birds, seals, and otters. Get off your kayak at a nice beach as you savor snacks and hot drinks on the seashore. Enjoy a transfer to and from Tromsø city center.

    Come to the meeting point where you will receive a safety briefing and introduction to winter sea kayaking from your certified local guide. Watch as the guide picks a suitable location according to the weather conditions. Put on your drysuit and get ready for your kayaking adventure.
    Board your double kayak. Choose a single kayak if you can show sufficient kayaking skills. Appreciate the crystal clear water and clean air of the Norweigan winter or fall as you row in the sea in the Eidkjosen or Sommarøy area depending on weather conditions. Look out for common eiders gathering urchins.

    Observe White-tailed Sea Eagles scouting for prey and witness an otter swimming away with its latest fish catch. Have the chance to be followed by a seal swimming by your side as you tour the islands, sounds, and archipelagoes.
    Arrive at a beach halfway through your adventure and explore the shore. Enjoy a snack and some hot beverages. Warm yourself up and prepare for the journey back. Finish your tour at the activity center.

    Description Evening Cruise with Northern Lights Opportunity :-
    The experience starts in the dock in the city center in Tromsø, from there you will take on the arctic night on board
    MS Polar Adventure. The boat departs at 20:00 and will set course to the destination where the chances of seeing the Northern Lights are the greatest.
    On board are a variety of warm and cold drinks for you to enjoy and keep you warm, it is self-service and you can eat as many cookies and drink as many coffees as you want.
    There are also thermal suits available for you to put on for a cold winter night.
    Photos are not included in this activity, but the crew on board will help you to set up the correct settings on your camera and phone, so you can capture the green lady.
    You are allowed to bring with you food and beverages, but alcohol is not allowed to take on board.
    The boat will stay with the Northern Light as long as it can take into consideration the duration of the tour. The boat will return at the same dock right next to Scandic Ishavshotel at 23:30.
    We cannot guarantee the viewing of the Northern Lights, but if you do not see the Northern Light on your first night, you will be offered a 40 % discount on a new tour on the days we have available places(A new tour is only valid once). Since we do not guarantee to view the Northern Lights, a partial or full refund will not be available if you do not see the Northern Lights. On days when the weather is bad and the chances of seeing the Northern Lights are small, we will contact you and ask you to move your booking to another day, so please be available for contact within 24 hours before departure.

During this 5-hour round trip of Kvaløya island, we take care of the full package: pictures of you and the landscape, local pastries, hot beverages, a knowledgeable guide and a driver that will show you the most beautiful spots in the area. We will stop in many places to show you as much as possible during the tour. These breaks are also an excellent opportunity for spotting wildlife, like reindeer and sea eagles.     Description Overnight in Lavvo & Reindeer Sledding with chance of Northern Lights:-
    Get to know our herd of 300 reindeer and join on a 30-minute sleigh ride while enjoying the beautiful nature around us and the wonderful night sky from the north!
    After getting picked up at the departure location you will head hop on a scenic ride of approx. 45 minutes where you can enjoy the beautiful and natural landscapes on the outskirts of Tromsø. This mountainous area close to the Lyngen Alps is home to magnificent coastal sceneries and idyllic villages, fasten your seatbelt and enjoy!
    According to Sami people, the northern lights have a sound. Sit quiet and listen: maybe you can hear it too! We cannot predict when lady aurora shows up, but we are lucky to have a location with very little light pollution and beautiful nature to experience this phenomenon in all its splendour!
    After a sleigh ride of approximately 30 minutes, you will head towards the fence and feed our lovely reindeers (many of the reindeer will even eat from your hand!).
    Right after, it is time for dinner. We will gather in our Gamme (Traditional Sami hut) where you will enjoy some hot drinks and you will get to taste our traditional reindeer stew (Biddos).
    When we are all settled and comfortable, our Sami guide will tell you more about the Sami culture and history, they will show you some of our traditional handicrafts and clothes too. There will be also time for questions, feel free to participate and ask!
    At the end of the tour, when the rest of the group heads back to Tromsø, you will be accompanied to your tent where you will learn how to keep yourselves warm through the night, just like it has been done for centuries, in what we call “hot tent camping”. Now you can get comfortable and unwind!

    *Each tent has space for 1 to 4 travelers. The set up is two queen sized beds separated by the wooden stove.
    *Solo travelers may share the tent with a second traveler.
    *IMPORTANT: The Reindeer Sledding (30 minutes activity) is subject to good snow conditions and sometimes we have to adjust the duration of this activity. If the weather does not allow us to run the sled-ride at all, we will offer you a partial refund. The rest of the tour will be held as normal.
    *All animals used for these services are trained for the activity, however, the behaviour of these animals can be unpredictable and therefore it is essential that all participants follow all given instructions for their safety, and the safety of others.
    *The sledding takes place as a "raid" where each reindeer and sled are bound together in a long row with the lead reindeer in the front. This means that sleds are shared, two participants per sled.
