Activity Tea Garden & Factory visit with Tea tasting with option for lunch

In 1826, Robert Bruce discovered tea in this region with the help of a Sighpo Tribe headman. A traditional process was followed to make this tea until the factories were setup in the gardens for commercial production. In this tour, you will taken to a tea factory where you be familiarized with the entire process how the tea leaves are produce to grains popularly known as CTC (Crush, Tear and Curl). A short tea tasting session will also be conducted to let you know about the how the tea is classified. In Banyan Grove - a 125 years old bungalow shall wait for you to serve lunch with some of the most rarest and tasteful cuisine of Assam.

Activity Tribal Dance Show with Dinner

In the evening witness a round of Jhumur nach another folk dance of Assam performed by group of girls holding each others waist and dance in synchronizing with the drum beats. This dance is dance is sometimes performed as a ritual to worship god, sometimes for lovemaking and sometimes as a prayer for rainfall. Your dinner will be served selecting a special list of local cuisines of the state.
