Detailed Day Wise Itinerary
- Day 1Info Arrival in Srinagar (Height 1585m)Arrive Srinagar, meet assistance at the airport and transfer to Hotel. Reach to your houseboat by the Shikara boat. C/into your rooms & freshen-up. Have rest for some time. Later proceed to visit the famous Mughal Gardens Nishat (Garden of pleasure) overlooking the crystal clear emerald green waters of the Dal lake then to Shalimar (Garden of Love). Each one is more beautiful than the one visited before. You will walk along the terraced flower beds, past splashing of marble pavilions and fountains with snow capped peaks of the Himalayas & Cheshmaashahi (Royal Spring). Dinner & overnight at the houseboat.End of Day
- Day 2Info Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar (82km / 2Hour 50Min approx)Today morning after breakfast proceed for your day excursion to Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold). On the way one can enjoy the beauty of the Sind valley. Sonmarg is at a height of 2690mts above sea level. The blooming Valley has been chiselled over the ages by the mighty Indus River. Major trekking routes begin from here. Two Lakes – Gadsar and Satsar are on the periphery of Sonmarg. Sonmarg is sheer scenic splendour. The very way- metalled road snakes through massive mountains laden with firs and forests. Arrive Sonmarg and visit to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains throughout the year. Late afternoon return to Srinagar. In the Evening enjoy the Shikara ride in the Dal Lake. Dinner & overnight at the houseboat.End of Day
- Day 3Info Srinagar – Pahalgam - (92 km / 2.5 Hours approx)Morning after breakfast drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds). Enroute visit Pampore which is famous for saffron field, continue your drive and visit to cricket bat factory, apple orchids gardens. Pahalgam is an idyllic resort located on the banks of river Lidder and Sheshnag. It is the base for several treks in the region and for the annual pilgrimage to the Holy Cave Shrine of Amarnath. The surroundings are ideal and allow for relaxation and leisure in the true spirit of a traditional hill resort. On arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon one can opt to Basaran valley by pony (on additional cost) is a large grassy meadow with small rolling hills, it is an eye-catching meadow and it’s also an ideal campsite for trekker who want to move further to Tulian lake.End of Day
- Day 4Info PahalgamMorning after breakfast visit to Aru valley. Aru valley is popular for its unique beautiful meadows .It is famous amongst the tourist for its peaceful environment and scenic beauty. The village is a base camp for trekkers to the Kolahoi Glacier. After that proceed for Betab valley. The valley got its name from film Betab. The valley is surrounded by lush green meadows, Snow Mountain and dense forest. Now drive back to Pahalgam .Rest of the day free for personal activities. Enjoy Pahalgam mall road.End of Day
- Day 5Info Pahalgam - Gulmarg - (140 kms / 4 Hour 30 Min approx)Morning after breakfast drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of flowers) at a height of 8 800 feet above sea-level. Here you will witness the beauty of the natural surroundings of Kashmir set out like a Doll's village, Gulmarg used to be a favorite hunt of the British in Summer and you will find the old fashion Hotels and shops in the village. Gulmarg has the highest 18 hole Golf Course in the World and has developed into a SKI Resort in winter. Arrive and transfer to hotel rest of day at leisure to explore the scenic beauty of Gulmarg by walk.End of Day
- Day 6Info Gulmarg
After breakfast your day is free for leisure. This day one can enjoy Gulmarg Activities at own cost & also enjoy the famous Gondola Ride (Cable Car online booking is to be done by the clients on their own at additional cost), Asia's highest and longest cable car. It’s a two-stage rope-way. The first stage transfers from Gulmarg to Kongdoori Station. The second stage takes skiers to a height of 3,747 m (12,293 ft). The timing of the gondola is 10 AM to 5 PM (It's highly dependent upon the weather at both stages). Return in the afternoon to enjoy Pony ride and walking around the area OR visit Khilanmarg (A picnic spot nearby) a fragrant valley, full of color and charm).
Note: Pls book Gulmarg Gondola Tickets online once you book the tour with us. During peak season the ticket availability is not possible if done last minute.
Gondola ticket booking is managed online thru J&K tourism. It is not in our hands or offline to book the tickets.
End of Day - Day 7Info Gulmarg to Srinagar - (51 km / 1Hours 30Min approx)After breakfast drive to Srinagar. On arrival c/into the hotel. Freshen-up & rest for some time. Evening one can go for the local shopping in the Srinagar town. Return back to the hotel for dinner & overnight stay.End of Day
- Day 8Info DepartureMorning free till departure transfer for Srinagar Airport to board the scheduled flight for Back home with wonderful memories.End of Day
