Arrival at Kargil Airport Warm welcome at Kargil Airport by our representative. Transfer to your hotel in Kargil town (Approx. 10–15 km / 20–30 minutes drive). En route, enjoy scenic views of the Suru River and surrounding mountains.  Check-in at Hotel Welcome drink on arrival. Freshen up and relax for a while.  Local Market Visit (Optional based on arrival time) Visit Kargil Main Market for local handicrafts, dry fruits, and souvenirs. Interact with local vendors and explore traditional Ladakhi items.  Kargil Local Sightseeing 1. Kargil War Memorial (Drass – Optional if time permits) Located about 1.5 hrs from Kargil. If you arrive early, a quick trip can be arranged. Visit the memorial built in honor of the soldiers of the 1999 Kargil War. 2. Munshi Aziz Bhat Museum Learn about Kargil’s rich Silk Route history. Exhibits artifacts from Central Asia and early trade times. 3. Hundurman Village (LOC Viewpoint – optional) A heritage village located near the Line of Control, accessible depending on time and season. Offers panoramic views and stories from border life.  Evening Return to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Kargil.

After breakfast at the hotel in Kargil, depart for Leh, enjoying the breathtaking landscapes en route. Drive through Namika La Pass and Fotu La Pass, two of the most scenic high-altitude passes in Ladakh. Visit the Lamayuru Monastery, one of the oldest and most spectacular monasteries in Ladakh. Witness the stunning confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers at Sangam Viewpoint. Continue the journey through Ladakh’s mesmerizing terrain, capturing scenic views along the way. Drive through Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft), one of the highest motorable passes in the world, offering stunning panoramic views. Upon reaching Nubra Valley, visit the Diskit Monastery, the largest and oldest monastery in the region, home to a magnificent Maitreya Buddha statue. Explore the Hunder Sand Dunes, a unique cold desert in Ladakh. Enjoy a memorable experience seeing the double-humped Bactrian camels, found only in this region. Begin your journey back to Leh, retracing the scenic route through Chang La Pass (5,360 meters), one of the world’s highest motorable roads. Scenic Drive & Sightseeing En Route Enjoy the mesmerizing landscapes as you drive through rugged mountains, high-altitude passes, and remote villages. Capture stunning views along the way, with opportunities for photography at various scenic points. Stop at Chang La Pass, known for its breathtaking panoramic views and the small temple dedicated to Changla Baba. Arrival in Leh Reach Leh by afternoon and check into your hotel.
