- Hike to Tiger’s Nest: Taktsang literally means –Tiger’s nest”. This monastery was built in the 1600s and clings to a sheer rock cliff that plunges 900m above the valley.
- Kichu Lhakhang: Located in the Paro Valley, is one of the oldest and most sacred temples in Bhutan. Built in the 7th century by the Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo, it is believed to pin down a demoness to allow the spread of Buddhism in the Himalayas. The temple exudes tranquility and spiritual energy, featuring ancient murals, statues, and beautifully maintained courtyards. A visit to Kichu Lhakhang offers a deep insight into Bhutan's spiritual heritage and is a must for those seeking a serene and culturally rich experience.
