On arrival at Guwahati meet and receive assistance from our representative at the airport/railway station.  Proceed to Shillong, also called 'Scotland of the East".  Reach the majestic Umium Lake (Barapani).  You may do the water sports here (Optional).  On arrival at Shillong, check-in at your hotel. (Courtyard by Marriott Shillong)  After brief fresh n up visit Lady Hydari Park, Wards Lake, Night, stay in Shillong.  In the evening you can visit Police Bazaar which the biggest local market (explore the local night markets of Shillong)  Overnight stay in Shillong.

After breakfast start our day for a day long excursion to Mawlynnong village, leave at 8:00 A.M.. It is situated 90 km. from Shillong.  Reach Mawlynnong and explore the cleanest village in Asia, we will also experience the wonder of the Khasi war Tribes – The Single Decker living Root Bridge at Riwai village and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock.  Also experience the panoramic view of the Bangladesh from 85 ft high sky walk made of bamboo by the locals.  After exploring the village we can drive to Dawki village (12 kms from the village), and Enjoy boating in the crystal clear waters of the Umgnot River, bordering India and Bangladesh.  Visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak for some breathtaking views. (This can be done on 28th morning enroute to cherrapunjee, if on 27th there is no time)  Evening return to Shillong and Overnight stay in Shillong (Courtyard by Marriott Shillong).

 Get up early today to enjoy the mesmerizing mornings of Shillong.  After an early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee, this is the wettest place in the world. (After breakfast, trek the single Decker Bridge (03 hrs trek).  Later explore the local sightseeing places of Cherrapunjee.  Visit Eco Park, Dainthlen Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), Mawsmai Cave, Thangkharang Park.  Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee 

After breakfast, we proceed for a full day of trekking to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge at Nongriat Village. The trek is about 3 to 4 hours.  Trek down 3200 steps approximately, each way to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge.  We can trek down further to the Rainbow Falls which take about 60 to 90 minutes from the Double Decker Living Root Bridge.  En route meet local Khasi villagers in Mawshamok, Tyrna, Umsohphie, and Nongthymmai.  See the longest Living Root Bridge, Double Decker Root Bridge, and go for a swim in Natural Swimming Pools.  In the evening get-together and cultural interaction with the villagers of Nongriat.  Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

After breakfast drive to Mawphlang.  On reaching Mawphlang you can visit Mawphlang Sacred Forest (35 km / 02 hrs drive), Khasi Heritage Village.  Later drive to Laitlum. Here you can enjoy the Great Canyon.  Thereafter drive to Shillong. Evening is free to explore the Police Bazaar.  Night, stay in Shillong. (Taj Vivanta or The Heritage Club, Tripura Castle or Ri Kynjai - Serenity By The Lake)

Check out from Shillong Hotel and drive to Guwahati to reach by 12-1 p.m.
