Katra – situated in the foothills of Trikuta Mountains and is base to visit Holy shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi. Drive from Jammu to Katra takes approx 2 Hrs. Arrive Katra and check-in at Hotel.

Info Day 2 Katra - Mata Vaishnodevi YatraAfter an early Breakfast at hotel, start your journey to Holy Shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi by foot or by pony. The holy shrine is located at 5200ft at a distance of about 14kms from Katra. The journey by foot takes approx 5 to 6 Hrs and by Pony it will take approx 2 to 3 Hrs. Yatra by foot/pony will take you through holy places like Ban Ganga, Charan Paduka, Himkoti and Ardha Kumari. After Darshan of Holy Shrine return back to Katra.
