Meet & Greet on arrival at IXB Airport and transfer to Phuentsholing - The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. It is a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival check in at the hotel.

Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

Info Day 2 : Phuentsholing to Thimphu (Distance: 176 km. / Driving Time: 6 hrs. / Altitude of Thimphu: 2350 mts.)
After breakfast, proceed towards Thimphu via the wonderful mystic town Gedu, about 9000 ft above the sea and Chukha Dam. On the way, halt at Chojum to take photographs of the confluence of two rivers of Bhutan, Thumpu Chu, and Paro Chu. Reach Thimpu in the evening.

On arrival check in at the hotel. In the evening, visit the the Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion).

Taktsang Monastery : Taksand Palphug Monastery also known as Tiger's Nest is an amazing Buddhist monastery, temple and sacred site located in the upper Paro town. Built in 1692, Padmasambhava is believed to have meditated at this site for 3 years. Guru Padmasambhava is known to be the founder of Buddhism religion in Bhutan. He is immensely respected and has a huge number of sacred followers in Bhutan.

Kyichu Lhakhang is one of the oldest Buddhist Temples in Bhutan (if not the oldest) and it is considered to be a prime example of the ornate Bhutanese architecture.

After an early breakfast, drive to Chelela Pass to seen the view and after that return to town take a final stroll around Paro town, visiting some renowned handicraft shops to collect souvenirs and lasting memories of your Bhutan journey. Then, begin your drive back to Phuentsholing. Approximately 5 km before reaching Phuentsholing, make a stop at Kharbandi Goenpa, a serene monastery offering a stunning panoramic view of Phuentsholing town and the plains of the Doars region of India. On arrival in Phuentsholing, check in to your hotel. The evening is at leisure, allowing you to relax and reflect on your experiences in the Land of the Thunder Dragon.
