Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1

Info Day 1 : Delhi to Shimla ( Overnight Journey by Volvo Bus)

Embark on an overnight journey from Delhi to Shimla by comfortable Volvo bus. The journey covers approximately 340 km and takes around 8–9 hours, offering a smooth ride through scenic highways and hilly terrain. Buses usually depart in the evening between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM from ISBT Kashmiri Gate or RK Ashram Marg, reaching Shimla early morning by 6:00–7:00 AM. Each bus is equipped with push-back seats, air-conditioning, blankets, and onboard entertainment for a relaxed travel experience. Passengers can enjoy short refreshment halts en route for dinner or tea breaks. Upon arrival in Shimla, the cool mountain air and picturesque views of pine-clad hills welcome travelers for a refreshing start to their hill holiday. Overnight travel ensures you save time and wake up ready to explore the “Queen of Hills.”

Info Day 2 : Arrival Shimla & Proceed to – Narkanda – Sangla – Chitkul

On the 2nd day of this Spiti Valley Tour, we have breakfast, basking in the first rays of the sun, and later head towards Chitkul.

Chitkul can be described as one of the most scenic settlements in the valley and the last inhabited village before the India-China border. This short drive from Sangla to Chitkul will be one of the most scenic drives you’ll take with plenty of opportunities to take stunning photographs. Walk around the Bapsariver and pay tribute to the Mathi Goddess at the temple in the village. After spending time in Chitkul, we turn around and head to Kalpa.

Legend has it that Kalpa was the winter home of Lord Shiva. If it’s true, he couldn’t have found a more remarkable abode for himself, with enthrallingly majestic views of the Kinner-Kailash and Jorkandan peaks looming right above the village.
