About Balpakram national park The Tura Balpakram National Park is a protected area located in the West Khasi Hills district of the state of Meghalaya in India. The park was established in 1984 and is spread over an area of 107 km². The park is known for its high levels of biodiversity, and is home to a large number of plant and animal species, including the critically endangered Hoolock gibbon.
