About Cap de formentor Cap de Formentor is a headland located in the municipality of Pollenรงa, in the north of the Spanish island of Majorca. The cape is a popular tourist destination, noted for its dramatic cliffs and views of the Mediterranean Sea. The cape is accessible by car from the town of Pollenรงa, and a number of footpaths lead to the summit. The cape is also home to the Cap de Formentor Lighthouse, which was built in 1859.
