About Desert national park Jaisalmer Desert National Park is a national park located in the Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan, India. The park is situated in the Thar Desert, and is spread over an area of 3,162 square kilometres. The park was established in 1980, and is home to a variety of wildlife, including desert foxes, blackbuck, chinkaras, and Indian bustards. The park is also home to a number of temples and palaces, including the Jaisalmer Fort.
