New York starts an all new vaccine passport that will help those vaccinated to get into businesses and events. It's been called the Excelsior Pass. All you have to do is show a code on your phone, or even take a printout in order to show that you have been vaccinated against COVID 19. Or that you have tested negative for the virus recently.
The Excelsior Pass will allow people to get into large-scale venues such as Madison Square Garden. Not just here, but the vaccine passport can be used to get entry into numerous events, arts, and entertainment places across the state of New York. The pass is even helpful in increasing the size of wedding parties, or other events.
So you can now prove your health status with the help of a digital QR code through the Excelsior Pass app. You are required to download the app and enter a series of personal information.
The pass will work for those who have not been tested positive for coronavirus in the last ten days; if you have been vaccinated by New York State, and it has already been 14 days since the last shot. You could also use the pass if you have taken a PCR test in the last three days, and the result has been negative. Those who have tested negative in an antigen test in the state in the last six hours can also use the pass.
