: The Gujarat government on Wednesday announced a Rs 1,000 crore relief package for the flood-affected people of the state.

Chief Minister Vijay Rupani made the announcement while addressing the media here.

"The state government has announced a relief package of Rs 1,000 crore for the flood-affected people of the state," he said.

Rupani also said that the state government has decided to waive off the interest on the crop loans of the farmers for the year 2018-19.
