Badami is a town and taluka in the Bagalkot district of Karnataka, India. It is the headquarters of the Badami taluka. The town is situated in a ravine at the foot of a group of hills, with the Agastya Lake at its center. It is known for the Badami Cave Temples, the Pattadakal UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the Badami Fort.
